Dry Haven Campground Provincial Park Recreation
Area.
Dry
Haven Campground is located on
highway #11,
100km
west of
Rocky Mountain
House along side Dry
Haven Creek.
Approximately 4 hours southwest of
the city of
Edmonton
and 3.75 hours northwest of the city
of
Calgary.
There are a total of 14 campsites
with picnic tables and fire pits.
All of the camp sites are somewhat
open with a few that are surrounded
by
Spruce and Aspen tress. This campground
has dry toilets,
fire wood and a community cook
shelter.
There is no water here.
Dry
Haven Campground may rank as the
worst campground in David Thompson
Country. There is really nothing
here other then Dry Haven Creek and
the campground itself is dismal at
best. Nearby
Chambers Creek
Campground is much
better.

The road to the campground is paved.
This is
bear country,
food and food related items must be
stored properly.
