Harlech Campground Provincial Park Recreation Area.

Harlech Campground is located next to Shundra Creek 72km West of Rocky Mountain House on highway #11. Approximately 3.5 hours Southwest of the city of Edmonton and 3.5 hours Northwest of the city of Calgary. There are a total of 17 campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. This campground has a hand water pump, dry toilets, fire wood and communal cook shelter. The campsites are nicely treed with lots of privacy but somewhat on the small side and are better suited for tenter's. Shundra Creek trailhead is located here which leads 10km South to the North Saskatchewan River. There is also ATV access nearby leading to several quad trails in the area. Shundra creek holds Rainbow and Brown Trout and can be good for fly fishing. Night skies here rank #2 on the Bortle Scale. The road to the campground is paved.
