Honeymoon Lake Campground Jasper National Park.
Honeymoon Lake
is located in the Rocky
Mountains on
the Icefields Parkway
53km
South of the Jasper town site. The
campground is situated on the West
shore of beautiful Honeymoon Lake
and is better suited
towards tents and
smaller RV's. There are 35
unserviced sites with picnic tables
and fire pits ( fire wood is
available when purchasing a fire
permit),
public pay phone, potable water that
is hauled in, dry toilets, sheltered
camp kitchen with a wood burning
cook stove, garbage bins, bear
proof food
storage and a canoe launch.
This is Bear
country, food and food related items
must be stored properly.
Views of Honeymoon Lake and the
Endless Chain Ridge are outstanding.
Honeymoon Lake is crystal clear and
perfect for canoeing. Buck Lake and
Osprey Lake are only a short hike
away and well worth the effort.
Sunwapta Falls are located just East
of Here. Athabasca falls and
Mount Edith Cavell are also located
a short drive North of here.
Honeymoon Lake campground would make
for a perfect Honeymoon get away.
It's name describes it perfectly. Night
skies here rank # 1 on the
Bortle Scale
and the road
leading to the campground is paved.
See the official web site
