Hornbeck Campground Alberta Provincial
Recreation Area.
Hornbeck Campground and
Provincial Park is located approximately
16km
West of the Town of
Edson
and
199km West of the City of
Edmonton.
There are a total of 32 campsites
located next to the Yellow Head
Highway and Sundance Creek. This
campground offers, water, firewood,
picnic tables, dry toilets and camp
kitchen. Sundance Creek
has good Rainbow Trout fishing, you'll need a
fishing
license to try your luck.
Due to the Yellow Head highway this
campground can be noisy however
there are a few quieter spots
located lower down on the bank of
Sundance Creek. Hornbeck Campground
certainly makes for a good one night
stop over if you're heading towards
Jasper National Park

Obed Lake
Campground is located
24km
West of here. Night skies here rank # 5 on
the
Bortle Scale.
This is
Bear country, food and food related items must be
stored properly.
