Three
Sisters Campground.
Three Sisters campground is located
at Dead Mans Flats in the
Foothills to the Rocky Mountains in
Bow Valley Provincial Park, Kananaskis country,
55 minutes west of Calgary and
16km
East of
Canmore.
Dead Mans Flats is a service
corridor offering Gas and
Restaurants next to the 1A Trans
Canada Highway. There are 36 Campsites
in the Three Sisters Campground,
some of these are located on the
River in the Bow Flats Natural Area. This
campground may fill fast on weekends
due to it's close proximity to the
City of Calgary.
All the campgrounds located in
Bow Valley Provincial Park make for an excellent late
start stop over if you're planning
to tour the National Parks. The
campground offers campsites for both
tents and larger RV's,
playground,
water, toilets, telephone,
camp kitchen, and a canoe boat
launch. Dry firewood is
available here for a fee. Rainbow Trout, Brown
Trout and Whitefish can be caught in
the Bow River. You'll need a
fishing
license to try out your luck.
There are a few easy hikes that can
be accessed from the campground. This
campground is located close to the
1A Trans Canada Highway and can be
noisy.

This is
Bear country,
food and food related items must be
stored properly.
