Waskahigan River Campground Alberta Provincial Park.

The Waskahigan River campground and Provincial Park is located near the Iosegun and Waskahigan Rivers approximately 112km north west of the town of Whitecourt. 282km north west of the City of Edmonton. There are a total of 20 sites for both tents and larger RV's, picnic shelter, fire wood, picnic tables, water and dry toilets. This campground may rank as one of the dullest campgrounds in Alberta. It's an open field located next to #43 highway and is really more of a stop over or rest area then a campground. Night skies here rank # 4 on the Bortle Scale. This is bear country, food and food related items must be stored properly.
