the sites back onto the North
Saskatchewan river with open views
towards the valley. The cliffs on
the East face of Mount Wilson
located on the East side of the
highway contain some the best ice
climbs found in the world. In the
winter months all the small water
falls you see on these East cliff
faces freeze into irresistible play
grounds for ice climbers. The famous
Weeping Wall, Polar Circus and Ice
nine water falls are located within
a few
kms
of here.
The Weeping Wall is best viewed in
the winter months as the entire
cliff face freezes over. This
campground is also located

from the Columbia Icefields and the
Saskatchewan glacier, the head
waters of the North Saskatchewan
river. The Rampart Creek hostel is
located across the highway.
