Location/Description
Location: 78kms east of Banff National Park on the #11 David Thompson highway. 100kms west of Rocky Mountain House Alberta.
Description: Dry Haven contains 14 campsites well suited for both RV’s and tents. Amenities include dry toilets, fire wood, fire pits and camp kitchen. Note there is no water here. All the sites are somewhat open with a few that are surrounded by spruce and aspen trees. Dry Haven may be the worst campground located in David Thompson Country. There is nothing here other than the creek and the campground is dismal at best. It’s best use may be for a stop over while traveling.
Night skies here rank #1 on the Bortle Scale. This is bear country, food and food related items must be stored properly.
