Location/Description
Location: #11 David Thompson highway next to Lack Fisk Lake 44kms west of Rocky Mountain House Alberta. Note, 2kms of gravel road at the entrance.
Description: Jackfish Lake campground only contains 5 campsites with two of those located next to the lake. Amenities include fire pits, dry toilets, picnic tables, refuse containers, small boat launch, community kitchen and fire wood available for sale. Jackfish Lake is excellent for canoeing and kayaking.
There are also several hiking and mountain bike trails located near here. The lake is 1.2kms long with a maximum width of 400ms and has a 12km speed limit. Jackfish Lake holds northern pike, walleye and yellow perch. You’ll need a fishing license to try your luck.
