Within an hour or so you’ll arrive at the mosquito creek backcountry campground. The campground is nicely kept with flat campsites located next to mosquito creek. You’ll need to reserve your campsite before heading out.
Lots to explore near here. The trail past the campground leads to north and south molar pass. Follow the trail past the campground until you reach the signed north and south molar pass fork. The left hand fork leads towards north molar pass and fish lakes. Right hand trail leads to the summit of south molar pass. Both are absolutely stunning and well worth exploring.
