This campground is a tenters paradise. Several tent sites located on the lakeside are absolutely beautiful. Each tent site has a level wood framed gravel pad to set up on. Two Jack Campground makes a perfect base camp if you want to spend a few days exploring Banff and the surrounding area.

Lake Side trail located beside Two Jake Lake and along the outflow canal offer beautiful views of the surrounding mountain range. You can follow the canal for a few kilometers ending above the Banff power generating plant. The canal is somewhat hidden with sections that are partially buried tunnels.

Two Jack Lake is perfect for canoes. Don’t confuse Two Jack Lake’s flat water with nearby Lake Minnewanka known to have extremely hazardous wind gusts that blow out of nowhere. Two Jack Lake is good for trout fishing. National Park fishing license is required to try your luck. Night skies here rank #4-5 on the Bortle ScaleThis is bear country, food and food related items must be stored properly.
