Location/Description
Location: #32 highway 14kms south of Swan Hills Alberta.
Description: Freeman River campground contains 10 campsites suited for both RV’s and tents. Amenities include picnic tables, water and dry toilets. Firewood may be available for sale. The campsites are fairly open and located next to the #32 highway, expect to hear traffic noise. Freeman River offers off site ATV trails, snowmobiling, fly fishing, canoeing and kayaking.
Night skies here rank #4 on the Bortle Scale. This is bear country, food and food related items must be stored properly.
