Location/Description
Location: North of the #1 Trans Canada Highway 27kms east of Canmore, 59kms west of Calgary. Bow Valley Provincial Park Kananaskis country.
Description: Elk Flats Campground is for group camping only and is excellent for organizations planning outdoor group activities. The campground offers open sites for both tents and RV’s. Amenities include playground, water, dry toilets, picnic tables and fire pits. Fire wood is available when purchasing a fire permit.
Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Whitefish can be caught in the nearby Bow River. You’ll need a fishing license to try your luck.
