Location/Description
Location: Yellowhead #16 highway 16kms southeast of Edson, 199kms west of Edmonton Alberta.
Description: Hornbeck campground has a total of 32 campsites for both RV’s and tents. Amenities include water, picnic tables, dry toilets and camp kitchen. Firewood is available for sale. Nearby Sundance Creek has good Rainbow Trout fishing. You’ll need a fishing license to try your luck.
Due to the Yellowhead highway this campground can be noisy however there are a few quieter spots located lower down on the banks of Sundance Creek. Some of the sites are prone to flooding.
Night skies here rank #4 on the Bortle Scale. This is bear country, food and food related items must be stored properly.

Great stop over campground when traveling to the national parks.
